Fonctionnement : un système, deux conceptions intelligentes

Zebra Shades:
Control light by aligning or offsetting the alternating sheer and opaque stripes.

  • Fully Open: Stripes align, providing a clear view and maximum light.
  • Half Open: Stripes offset partially, allowing you to dial in any level of soft light and privacy.
  • Fully Closed: Stripes fully offset, with opaque stripes covering the sheers for room-darkening privacy.

Dual Shades (Two Rollers):

  • Your Mix: Adjust both for your perfect setting.

FAQs

What's the main difference between Zebra Shades and Dual Shades?
Both offer the same dual-layer function, but with a different visual style and operation method:

Zebra Shades: Feature alternating horizontal stripes of sheer and solid fabric. You control light by aligning or misaligning these stripes - when aligned, you get maximum light and view; when misaligned, you get privacy and light control.

Dual Shades: Feature two full, solid panels of different fabrics layered one behind the other. You control light by raising one panel while lowering the other, or using both together for intermediate effects.
Are they difficult to operate or maintain?
Not at all. They are designed for user-friendly operation and easy maintenance:

Operation: They operate as smoothly as a standard roller shade with simple up/down controls

Durability: The dual-layer mechanism is engineered for long-term reliability and ease of use

Maintenance: Regular dusting or a light vacuum with a brush attachment is usually sufficient

Cleaning: Most fabrics can be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water
Can I get them motorized?
Yes, and it's highly recommended for both Zebra and Dual Shades. Motorization offers:

Precision Control: Program exact alignments for different scenarios (e.g., "Morning" preset with sheers open, "Movie" preset with blackout layer fully closed)

Smart Integration: Control them remotely via smartphone app or through voice commands with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple Siri

Automated Schedules: Set daily routines that adjust automatically based on time or sun position

Convenience: Perfect for hard-to-reach windows or integrated whole-home automation
Which style is more suitable for modern vs. traditional interiors?
Both styles offer design flexibility, but they have different aesthetic appeals:

Zebra Shades: With their distinctive horizontal stripes, they work exceptionally well in contemporary, modern, and minimalist interiors. The clean lines and geometric pattern complement sleek, modern design aesthetics.

Dual Shades: Offer a more traditional appearance with their solid panels, making them versatile for both contemporary and classic interiors. They provide a clean, unbroken visual surface that works well in traditional, transitional, and modern spaces.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal style preference and the specific design language of your room.
